PLUG ALIVEÔ is a compact portable device that is used primarily for testing vehicle block heaters and extension cords.  By simply plugging the block heater cord into Plug Alive and by plugging Plug Alive into an electrical outlet.  A green light indicates whether the electrical outlet has power, and a red light indicates if the block heater is actually functioning.
